Direct Care Worker
A direct care worker will support clients to be independent and maintain a fulfilling lifestyle by providing a number of personal care services, ranging from general household duties to higher care needs. Requirements include First Aid, CPR and a current criminal record check. Your responsibility will include:
- Working as part of the Home Care Team to ensure delivery of a range of client services
- Working in partnership with staff, clients and families to deliver Consumer Directed Care and meet client needs and aspirations
- Building rapport with clients and providing emotional support
- Undertaking a range of administrative tasks
- Actively engaging in your professional development
