Our Services

Who are we?

At KA Aged Care, we are an accredited provider of Home Care Packages and aged care support. We provide quality and safe Home Care Services that meet the high standards of the Australian Government. Our mission is to empower and flourish the lives of individuals and families in their communities by providing quality care in the comfort of their homes.

We offer care services and support for people who may require help with day to day activities at home while being involved in their local community. KA Aged Care uses a consumer-direct care approach that offers flexibility and control to the individual to support their care needs. This can take form in either a ‘Home Care Package’ or ‘Private Care’.

What can you purchase with your Home Care Package budget?

DOMESTIC CARE

Household cleaning, laundry and ironing, gardening, shopping, bill paying, meal preparation

PERSONAL CARE

Eating, dressing and grooming, bathing and toileting, showering

TRANSPORT AND SOCIAL SUPPORT

Getting to social outings and community engagements, attending appointments, getting to and from shopping venues

NURSING CARE

Wound care, medications, management of skin integrity, continence management in using continence aids and appliances

ALLIED HEALTH AND THERAPY SERVICES

Dentures, fitness, remedial massage, counselling, speech therapy, podiatry, occupational or physiotherapy services, other clinical services such as hearing and vision services

AIDS AND EQUIPMENT

Wheelchairs, scooters, rollators, crutches, quadruped walkers, walking frames, walking sticks, mechanical devices for lifting, bed rails, slide sheets, sheepskins, tri-pillows, pressure-relieving mattresses

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Getting to social outings and community engagements, attending appointments, getting to and from shopping venues

MINOR HOME MODIFICATIONS

Minor home modifications that help you live safely and independently in your home. This includes easy access taps, grab rails in the toilet, bath and/or shower, hand rails and ramp installations.

What is the cost?

The fees are determined in accordance with your personal situations and the Australian Government’s regulations. KA Aged Care can offer special arrangements to match your particular financial situations in the case of financial hardship. Private fee-based services are also available.
